Self Pay

  • Self-paying provides a higher level of privacy. When insurance is used, the insurance company has access to your diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress notes. Some might prefer keeping this information entirely private.

  • If you are insured, but your plan has a high co-pay or deductible, self-pay may be a more affordable option.

  • Some insurance plans limit the number of therapy sessions they cover in a certain timeframe. If you wish to connect with a therapist more frequently than your health plan allows, self-pay options are available to meet your needs.
